Divorce Mediator and Financial Analyst at our Winnipeg Office
Brigette is a professional mediator, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has specialized training in Conflict Management and Mediation through the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Waterloo. Brigette’s experience working extensively with families and individuals in social services, mental health, community corrections, and child welfare enables her to bring an array of expertise to the mediation table. She has experience with high conflict situations and has mediated disputes in a variety of areas including family, landlord and tenant and other disputes between individuals in the community. Brigette uses the guiding principle of self-determination in her mediation sessions with the belief that the people in conflict are the experts in developing a solution that is most appropriate for them. As a divorce mediator, her goal is to facilitate the communication process so parties can reach a mutually agreeable resolution.
