Divorce and Separation Mediator at our Winnipeg Office
Renée graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 1993 and was Called to the Bar in Manitoba in 1994. In her early years of law, Renée practiced in a general law practice with an emphasis on family law. From 2003 until 2015 she practiced mainly child protection litigation and family law. In this capacity, Renée has extensive litigation experience advocating for clients in court and negotiating settlements outside of court. Renée also completed the Collaborative Family Law Training during this time.
Renée became a non-practising lawyer in September 2015 to pursue mediation with Fairway Divorce Solutions. Renée’s experience in the traditional adversarial process in family law gives her valuable insight in assisting clients through the mediation process. She has experience with both high conflict and low conflict families and is able to engage the family to find common ground. Renée enjoys working with people to help them find the best solution for the family during what is often a difficult time.
Renée works out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office (an independently owned franchise).
The Fairway process is an opportunity for people experiencing separation and divorce to maintain control of the process, have tremendous input into their final resolution and make decisions for their family in a timely and efficient way.
