Separation and Divorce Mediator at our Vancouver Office
After over 25 years’ experience operating several successful businesses and then subsequently living through her own personal divorce, when she first encountered Fairway Divorce Solutions, Lesley recognized the benefits of the Fairway Process immediately.
Combining her accumulated life lessons and educational background as a business owner, conflict coach and trainer, and divorce mediator, Lesley became a franchise owner. She is a certified mediator through the Justice Institute of BC and a strong advocate for resolving conflict well. She holds an M.A. in Conflict Analysis and Management and combines this academic knowledge with her practical mediation, coaching and training background to bring a comprehensive approach in helping people move through one of life’s biggest challenges, separation and divorce.
Lesley is passionate about family and divorce mediation, and brings all her expertise to each unique situation, working hard to change the way divorce happens in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. One of the biggest challenges she sees in the current divorce service is a lack of identifiable process and a focus on silo thinking, rather than emphasizing the larger life picture. Following the step-by-step Fairway, process guarantees a high-quality product that identifies client’s needs and ensures their priorities are met.
Fairway is genuinely the compassionate alternative to the traditional divorce. I enjoy being able to empower people to make informed decisions. These decisions lead to greater control of their future. Knowing that I am helping to ensure that children are protected and that assets are preserved makes my work very fulfilling.
Lesley firmly believes that while divorce may be a part of your life, it doesn’t need to be your whole life. Lesley knows firsthand the trauma, fear and guilt associated with divorce even today; she also knows there is a better way, a “Fairway” for everyone involved.
Lesley Shebib works out of the Vancouver/Lower Mainland location, an independently owned Fairway Divorce Solutions franchise. She coaches and trains in the field of conflict resolution and communicating in conflict, as well as doing divorce differently through the Fairway process.
