Biography

Colleen is a senior Coach and Facilitator for business, family mediation, and interpersonal conflict resolution. Colleen has specialized training and certifications in Coaching, Conflict Resolution, Mediation, and Advanced Facilitation through NTL Institute, University of Calgary and the Justice Institute of BC. She completed her Master’s Degree in Leadership at Royal Roads University. Colleen’s international career experience, combined with her insightful approach, guides families and businesses through to positive outcomes with patience, support, and objectivity.

Colleen has over 30 years of experience in business at the front line and executive levels. She has extensive knowledge of business operations, best in class People Systems, Leadership Development, Change Management, Workplace Investigations and Human Rights conflict resolution. She is a Certified Mediator, Accredited Organizational Development Facilitator, Strategic Planning and Change Management Consultant. Colleen has significant experience in harassment and human rights matters including as an expert witness with the Supreme Court of Alberta. Her expertise in conflict resolution includes a multitude of projects with Oil and Gas, Petro-Chemical, Emergency Services, Manufacturing, and Not for Profit organizations, mediating solutions to avoid litigation and resolve issues at the executive, systems and individual levels.

Being in the service of others has always been my passion; coaching resilience, accountability and collaboration are the hallmarks of making a difference in tough situations – it is all about the willingness to lean in and listen.

Professional Experiences

Colleen has worked in Executive and Mediation roles internationally and throughout North America in several industries. Her career specialized in delivering sustainable solutions through understanding business drivers, aligning operational plans and programs to support profitability and sustain long-term performance through teamwork.

Between 1985 and 2016 Colleen had the privilege of working with large community initiatives such as G8 Summit (in Calgary), RBO Calgary to address historical grievances in Alberta Emergency Services, Safer Communities – a Diversity/Human Rights project, Pine Lake Disaster, and Ernst & Young Leadership program.
