Our Kelowna Divorce Team

At Fairway Divorce Kelowna, we use a team of experts who help create a win-win solution for you. Once a divorcing couple engages Fairway Divorce Kelowna, mediators and professionals with financial expertise ensure the parties move through the Fairway divorce mediation process smoothly. While there is an expert team working together to find resolution for each party and their family dynamic, one divorce mediator is the primary contact assigned to the couple.

Wes Stevenson, BA, MPA, CDFA - Senior Family Mediator

Wes has lived in Kelowna for the past six years and he has completed all three levels of Family Law Mediation through the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia. He is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) (http://www.institutedfa.com) and an experienced Divorce Mediator. Before joining Fairway, Wes spent many years as a counselor, coach and administrator. His goal is to empower his clients by encouraging them to take full control of the Fairway step-by-step strategic divorce mediation process. Wes is an active member of the Kelowna community, married and the father of four children in a blended family. Wes is excited to be part of the Fairway Divorce Kelowna team and he is looking forward to bringing Kelowna an alternative to the traditional divorce system. Wes strongly advises his prospective clients with these words, “Mediate, don’t litigate.”

Kristy Bieker – BSc, MSc - Client Manager and Assistant

Kristy moved to Kelowna in 2006 and she loves the Okanagan valley! Kristy is the first point of contact for inquiring clients looking at options for separation and divorce. Having gone through her own divorce, Kristy is a big proponent of divorce mediation as an option for couples ending their relationships, whether married or common law. Kristy understands the emotional pain and financial hardship that often accompanies divorce. She is a “Commissioner for Taking Affidavits” in British Columbia, and she earned her degrees in the science area and has spent many years working in both the public and private sectors. She is a valuable team member of the Kelowna Fairway Divorce franchise.

Niki Stevenson, CDFA, BPAS, MSc - Client Communications and Marketing Manager

Niki is Fairway Divorce Kelowna’s frontline person. As marketing manager she is constantly interacting with individuals and businesses stretching from Vernon to Kelowna, to Penticton and Osoyoos. Separation and divorce marketing is challenging and Niki does a great job for Fairway Divorce Kelowna. Niki received a Master of Science degree in the field of Kinesiology and Health Studies from the University of Regina and recognizes the importance of maintaining positive well-being through difficult and stressful life-changing events such as divorce. As the Client Communications and Marketing Manager for Fairway – Kelowna, she is committed to promoting the Fairway Process™ as a much better alternative for partners ending their relationships, and helping the team see clients through the process as seamlessly as possible.
