Fairway is looking for a resourceful, technical and well educated career oriented person that will add to our young lean entrepreneurial office values, ethics and culture. 

The Candidate needs to be a team player motivated by an entrepreneurial environment who can adapt to the fast pace of a growing and changing Franchise.  The Candidate will report directly to the CEO to improve and add value to the company through the operations, process, compliance, franchise sales, financials, communication and anything else that the CEO may require to help the company grow.   This position will be very closely aligned with the day to day of the CEO.

The candidate will learn all aspects of the company in an effort to establish internal growth opportunity within the company for the candidate.

This position will have limited routine work and therefore, the candidate must adapt well to change and have strong multitasking skills.   The candidate will be extremely process oriented and have the ability to create processes and project mapping.  The candidates day may consistent of the following, but not limited to:

  • Key communicator - responsible communication both written and verbal with the Franchise offices and building positive Franchisee relationships
  • The ‘Go To’ person, for all questions from the franchise offices.
  • Build rapport with all levels of the organization, including face to face and telephone communication.
  • Overseeing and follow up on reporting from Franchisees
  • Attending to mundane tasks such as answering phones, courier, mail etc
  • Overseeing and managing all documents and reporting for Franchisees & Corporate offices
  • Creating franchise policies in Operations manual
  • Franchise Office Audits
  • All aspects of Operations of our Franchisees
  • Conducting Senior Negotiator and Owner conference calls
  • Franchisee problem solving
  • Being involved in strategic decision-making and problem-solving
  • Being involved in creating and managing new Franchisee Systems and intranet systems that are offered to the Franchisees
  • Moving clients through the Fairway Divorce Process to learn the entire Fairway system and assisting clients
  • Possible travel to Vancouver as a corporate office will be opened there
  • Assistance in opening a Vancouver corporate location

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to details, and technology expertise are among the top assets Fairway is looking for.

The duties of the position will include (but will not be limited to):

Requirements:

  • Must have a University Degree!
  • BComm or Business Degree is preferred!
  • Strong back bone and ability to alleviate issues
  • Willingness to take on any tasks requested by CEO
  • Extremely tech savvy
  • Proficient computer skills and general client management software program knowledge, (Mac/Apple products)
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
  • Strong attitude, personality and core values to bring to the table
  • Ability to travel if needed
  • No 9-5 work ethic mentality
